glx not found

anyone know how to solve this problem? Some opengl programs work but some give me this error. Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".

have you got your graphics card driver installed correctly?
and have you got the line:
Load "glx"
in the Module section of your XF86Config?

can't think of anything else off the top of my head

Yep, got the line in the module section.
As far as I can tell the video drivers are installed correctly.

My desktop computer works but my laptop is the one haveing the problem. It''s a Compaq Armada 4130T with a Cirrus Logic GD 7548.

If anyone can think of anything else that might help please let me know.
