Face skins
Hi,
Iv''e extracted some character face skins which are in bmp form.
They are obviously stretched to show all sides of the face.
I want to add my own face on the character from a scanned photo.
How do I go about the stretching effect. I assume I photograph my face from all angles, but how do I make the final continuous single image. I could join them in photoshop but is there a plug-in or another program that will do this for me.
Thanks,
Blobby
P.S. Total newbie to this

hi blobby,
i am guessing you are talking about mapping a texture onto a 3d object. i am just now getting into it in school, i dont have time to get ahead of myself, but its called unwrapping. from what i hear it is tesious at times and frusterating.
run a search on some tutorials. hopefully i understood you right, i am kind of retared at times.

Yep you got it right, but I was kinda hoping someone could direct me to some info. I have searched for tutorials but don''t seem to find an answer.
Thanks anyway.
Blobby.
