Poor-mans Digitizing, what works best?
planning to make a mortal kombat style game with my friends and I as the characters. we don''t have access to any nice equipment to help the digitizing process.
i''m thinking of getting a digital camera and trying to take pics of all the frames and animate them smoothly together (looks better, harder to animate)
or
caputing video with a camcorder and picking out frames from the video sequence (looks worse, easier to animate)
which technique should i try?

I have no personal experience with this kind of thing, but a friend of mine made a very nice animation using a digital camera and taking many "frames" with it.
