Just want to know what should I read to become a level designer.Notice that I am getting my degree in computer science so I wondered if that helps.Thanks.

Read articles on this site. Read the books on this site. Also, go to cliffyb.com. It is written by the famous Cliff Blesinzki, and has some good tips. Finnaly, experiemnt. Get a game with a good mod community, and join them.

The mod community is crucial. There is no better way to learn about level design than to learn about making mods for existing games. Check out the planet______.com websites for a great place to start -- especially PlanetHalflife and PlanetUnreal.
