Gawd, watership down had me scared as a kind. It was like a junior bloodfest!
I can''t remember the character well, I think it was the General was the big bad ass rabit.

One eye, Mono-opic creatures are scary. More so when the once had two. Are these rabits going around on all fours or anthromorphised to be walking on two legs?

Broken, twised, re-animated. Have them crawl on their forelegs, with the hind draging on the floor. But fast. And a nasty scurying sound!

Break their bodies, have them at weird angles. Give them two heads.

Why are these bunnies evil. Mad scientist (freelance vivisectionist?) Alien Bunnies, taken from this planet at the dawn of bunnykind, Placed on a inhospitable planet. Forced to evolved twisted to survive!
