Developement on the Net?
recently i came up with the ideea to make a game. (not very original attempts to make a game on my own proved unsuccesfull
(i got bored, ran out of ideeas etc)
the problem is my friends aren into programming. so i was thinking of developing the game on the net.
what is your opinion about making a game with a bunch of guys that u''ll probably never see in your life and that live 1000 miles away?
They will do interesting stuff.. and... leave, most likely.

I teleported home one night; With Ron and Sid and Meg; Ron stole Meggie's heart away; And I got Sydney's leg. <> I'm blogging, emo style
If getting bored and running out of ideas are a problem for you, don''t expect a net team to help. It will be up to you to continue supplying the focus and inspiration of the team. Most people who join your team will get bored even more easily than you! Even though your friends don''t program, you may have friends that are good with plots, can design levels, and do art.
But above all, pick a project that is simple enough to finish, even if you have to do it on your own. Because chances are that unless you get very lucky, if you plan on finishing the project, you''ll still have to do most of it on your own anyway, net team or not.
