I kinda hope SCO does sue them, just to put half of those Linux advocates into reality.

What reality? Do you know what the lawsuit is about?

Oh, I do , I do!

SCO worked with IBM awhile back and gave them some technologies under an NDA. IBM used those technologies in the open source Linux. SCO now sues IBM for breaching its NDA.

Simple.

Now.. there are some very major errors in the brief papers, but the just of it is that SCO is allegding IBM used SCO''s technologies in Linux without SCO''s permission or license. Since we don''t know what those technologies are yet, we cannot really judge if that is true or not.

Time will tell.

Slashdot had something on this.

IIRC, the techonologies they are alleging were stolen from them were in the Linux kernel years before IBM had any association with Linux.

Also, SCO vs. IBM is like a dragonfly vs. a dragon. Many people suggest that SCO is only doing this to try and get IBM to buy them out to shut them up.
