Graphic Artist Needed!
I desperately need some help with a project of mine. I am working on a flash movie that I will describe later in the post. I need help with the artwork. Unfortunately, I am doing this project for free, so I need someone willing to work for free too. Full credit will be given, so the project would be good for some beginners who want to gain a little recognition. The flash will be viewed by very many people. I can guarantee that. It is going to be centered on a new ORPG called Planeshift, which promises to be a really good game. You can check it out for yourself here: planeshift.it
Here’s what I am trying to do:
It opens with a guy writing on some parchment… The view is sort of above his left-side shoulder. You can see him drawing some lines and scribbling on the paper… It gradually zooms in on the paper and you see his hand moving around the paper drawing a map of some kind… He draws rivers, lakes, mountains, etc. Gradually the picture becomes alive and the user is now viewing a 3D world of what the map-maker has been drawing. He sees many more things being drawn onto the world (by the map-maker, still writing)… Like rivers just sort of make themselves, planes become mountains, etc… Eventually the 3D world is rolled up from the edges, the user is transported back to the map-makers desk, and the map-maker finishes rolling up the paper and sticks it into a jar containing other maps…
So, that’s what the general flash will be like, I just need someone to help make most of the images. Like the room that the map-maker will be in, the map-maker, the 3D world (can be a 2D picture), and just about everything I mentioned above. I don''t really have any constrains about how the images look, but I will say this. The map-maker and the map-maker''s room can be sort of cartoony looking. So don''t take very long on those. What’s really important is the "3d" world. I will probably need multiple images of the 3d world. One that looks like the drawing the map-maker was writing, one that has a river in it, one that has a mountain in it, and maybe one that has a city in it. All 3 images should look like they are in the same spot. (So I don’t have to shift the camera around when working on the flash animation)
So, that’s about it. If you are interested then please contact me at csolar1124@attbi.com or reply to this post. I am looking forward to working together.
They can write what they like, so long as I get the royalties.
Well, this sort of belongs in the help wanted forum, so you might post there too, but I can see why you have it here.
With all the specifics, I''m sure you can avoid having this closed by a mod...
However, it does seem like you''re asking a lot for free... Perhaps if you asked for different people to do different tasks?
