Now a final question, the graphics card I have supports dual monitors. I''d like to get a 19 or 21 inch for the main workspace and a 15 inch for my palette''s and whatnot. One of the monitors would be an LCD, though I''m torn between which...help? hehe...thanks a bunch everyone, you''ve been great!
Posting a non graphics related question on a graphics forum and having its members give you smart assed replies... priceless.

Actually, since you obviously can''t read, this IS for graphics. It is a question about which monitor we think would be best suited for a graphics workstation, and I think it is a very valid question.
Now for the answer, or at least, my suggestion:
If you have the money and desktop space, get a Flat (not flat panel LCD, just a flat) 21" monitor, otherwise, get a 19" flat monitor, and get the 15" LCD. I have no clue how much desk space, or money you have, but that a 21" flat screen + 15" lcd would probably be the nicest setup.

Oh, and one other thing, I would probably pick up 2 80gb hard drives, and get a motherboard that supports a hardware raid (or a pci expansion card for it) and set up a simple striped array (RAID 0), that way you won''t spend forever waiting for stuff to load from the hard drive, only 1/2 of forever .
Why don''t you go for SCSI??

Ready4Dis, thank you very much for your advice. I too thought that since my question was regarding monitors used for graphics work, the artistry forum would be the best place to ask, since many of you here have dual monitors I''m assuming. I was also thinking about the 21inch flat screen (not panel) and 15inch LCD because my father has the same monitor setup as that and it works quite nicely in my opinion. On that note: does brand matter when going for monitors? I''ve seen 15inch LCD''s go for $200 and some 21inch (not sure if flat screen or not) go for about $400, which both seem pretty cheap for the size. Thanks again, and please just relevent responses like Ready4Dis'', I''m assuming some of you are professionals or are at least aiming to be one, so please respond professionally. Thank you.
