Eric - those strings are from the Orkestra sample library that comes with Reason 2.0 ( http://www.propellerheads.se/ ). I think I used a very light reverb or something but that''s it for effects.

Now to catch up and check out everybody''s music...
NiteCaller - I love that Source of Secrets piece, very nice work. I wish I had the attention span to compose something like that (my stuff is simple and short, doesn''t really go anywhere).

xoxos - yeah, I''m a drummer so I definitely understand the ghost note thing. There aren''t any in my pieces online sometimes by stylistic choice (like Gloom) but sometimes because it''s just a pain in the ass to do it without electronic drum pads. At least I have a pressure-sensitive keyboard now but back when I was using a drum machine alone it was just insanely difficult to put any real feeling into it. I''m defintely going to get some good pads someday so I can get more human-sounding drums going.

I''ve spent much more time playing in bands and writing stuff for rock band instrumentation. I recorded a 14-song CD with Off Machine before I [quit/got kicked out] over differing levels of ambition within the band. Got a set of about 8-10 recent songs of my own, two of which are on there (selected for the drumming not the songwriting). http://aisle4.com/drumming

Probably no use for anyone who wants game music, but here's my most recent stuff:

Clip 1 - Sort of a proggy, jazzy, metally thing.

Clip 2 - Slightly more metal than the previous.

It's only funny 'till someone gets hurt. And then it's just hilarious.Unless it's you.
You can find a sample of my music at the following link:

I use diverse recording & mixing techniques.

My recommendation to new composers is to be original and concentrate on the artistic side of the creative process, while being mindful of the technical aspects.

Let me know what you think. I''ll be glad to answer any questions.
Hey peep,
Here''s an opportunity to see what you think of my new site :D

I''ve worked on 2 video games before and neither was completed, so please only ask for my help if you are definitely going to finish your game.
