Alex,

That song sounds a lot like Enya''s Watermark. Good tune. What are you using? Kurzweil?

Aaron,

for this track I used the Alesis QSR for the piano sound, the Roland MKS 50 for bass and the Korg Z1 for all other instruments.

nitecaller - you''re not by any chance into acoustic music? i''m always amazed that i can find so few emulative patches for the z1.. they ought to have a wall full of them at every music university.. up for a swap?

You lucky one. I never found any "useable" patches for the z1 in the net. Ok lets swap :-)
Would be cool if you have some flute and/or string patches.

couple of violins and cello variations, only one base ''strings'' patch so far, discrete pitch lfo sounds goofy when not used with reverb.. acoustic bass, ukulele, a few guitars, ''medieval flute'' and bagpipe, lute. if you use logic i''ll just stack them in a .lso file for ease. are you actually as audiodirector@immersiveartz,com ? (sans comma)

oh yeah, and a great ''third grade violinist'' patch like nails on chalkboard.

had to patch the lute from a tiny bit of banjo playing ages ago and recordings.. it would have been nice to find some by someone who has actually touched a lute.. seems like it was made for say historical music composers.

"i wanted to make the song this week, not patch.."

its almost the same here. Some punchy basses, guitars (accoustic and distorted), a sweet Hawaiian guitar :-), some cool choirs,a plenty of bells(tubular, synths bells)
and dozens of pads, effects, apregiators and leads. Oh, I forgot, some percussions.
If you could make some Midi Dumps or maybe sysex`s. Would be great!! Because I dont use logic (not yet).

Oh yeah, my email: roemer121@compuserve.de

PS: I saw you use a Fizmo...me too! :-)
