Hi all, im a complete newbie to opengl and im trying to write a mini golf game. Im going ok i can do stuff like reflections and 3ds charaters and all the usual but the maths und phiysics is really getting to me. I have the collision detection working, not the crap ray plane collision mind but the sphere / polygon collision. Now i am stuck on how to write a ball class to include for drawing the stationary ball at the start of the game and then rotating it around itselt so the player can take a second shot, also the reflection of the ball is a bit hairy, Is there anyone who can help me please ........ JOCK
I sent to you an e-mail with a document and usefull information.

ray-plane is not crap. if you dont make this, your ball will pass trought the ground if the speed is too high.
Cheers for the link, will give it a good going over
Is there any reason why you don''t post the link here? I''d like to know to, please.
