Hello everyone! I''ve made a very very simple black and white soccer ball, and I''ve "made" a texture for it in the material editor. However, I''m not sure how to save the texture, so that I can load it into my d3d engine. I''m currently exporting it to the x file format, however when I load it, it renders white, because there is no texture. Anyway, this is what it looks like in 3ds: Any help would be greatly appreciated! I know I''ve been rather vague, but I''m not really sure what to say :|. Thanks again!
I''m not familiar with the .x format, is it a text/ASCII format? If it is, then you can look to see if the texture gets saved in any text editor. If it is there.. make sure that you load the texture in your app. Debug and see if the texture filename shows up correct.

The x format is either text or binary (you can choose which format to save it in.) Usually it saves the texture file name as well, but since this is a custom texture that I''m using, I need to be able to get the texture (as far as I know) by saving it (I presume).
