Hey everyone !
I am doing a demo, and i want it to look (or partially resemble) something like Mad Onnion''s : 3D Mark 2000/2001.
The graphics i (think) will mannage, but with musical talent, my parents cut me me a little short
Anyways, i would like to gather many information about the music that is following the 3D graphics in 3D mark.
Or for that matter anything on the "Music for Games" topic
Every help is appreciated !
Thanks in advance !

search for "VIP by Popsy" in google for a good 3dmark looking demo (a scene demo though).
dynamic sigs are fresh!

I think those are just mp3 files which have been composed to picture. There''s nothing particularly interactive or clever going on.
So, find yourself a composer who does the sort of music you are looking for (electronica with some "watch me rock" guitar), send them your finished demo and get an mp3 back in a couple of weeks...
Easy

The 3DMark2000 Song was done by a tracker, who went by the name of Teque. The song was static, it just matched the demo wonderfully. He played his own guitars, and pretty well. You used to could download all his music at TraxInSpace.com, until the site went under, and hundreds of composers basically disappeared.
(note - Teque and his music, as I just found, can be found at www.mp3.com)
If you''re interested in making your own music, I highly suggest learning the ins and outs of ModPlug Tracker, (www.modplug.com). There''s plenty of good samples out there for free, search google for "Royalty free music samples", and be ready to do some link hunting. Always be certain that your samples are guaranteed free to use for production, and you''re on your way.
