It''s funny and it makes a good point...i dont really care where it applies...or what technicalities the rules contain...it was entertaining and enlightening, as it at least makes you think. Of course they arent all true, but they are still funny if you think about it.

It''s great and everything, but so far has nothing on the game I''m designing at the moment. It is funny though. I think I''ll read it in German.

COOLNESS!

this reminds me of a (considerably less complete) list i began compiling in a thread a few months back, the idea being to find the cliches and reverse them

example: there is an ancient rope-and-plank footbridge crossing a chasm. someone takes one step and it snaps in the middle (instead of being mesteriously free of decay). this short cutscene would be preceded by two or more characters having a brief argument about wether or not it''s safe to cross considering the castle it leads to has long since crumbled.

One advantage of PC RPGs, and possibly the new generation of consoles, is that if you or someone else has the time, the game is never out of date because you can make new levels and store them on hard disk. I prefer PCs for the extra buttons, but consoles becuase of the ease of use. If only the entire world was recoded to use only keyboards...
