Heya all! Today I went out with some christmas cash, and splurged on the program Reason. I was really impressed by the music that was created on their site and the functionality of it. I am wondering if anyone else here has experience with it, or just got it recently? I would like to learn it, but I find it alot easier to learn with other people. Right now I''m trudging through the tutorial songs and looking at the demo songs. Maybe I''ll open up the manual sometime . But if anyone wants to help out or learn with me, it would be lots of fun.

I have Reason. A truly wonderful peice of software. Do you have 1 or 2? (I have 1). If you have any questions, don''t hesitate to ask.

Reason 2 , but they are probably pretty similar. Right now I''m having fun going through all the loops. It came with 2 full cds of synth loops :D.

I dont have Reason 2.0 but I have tried it and its really great. Im very impressed with the orchestral samples that came with it. If I was starting out with music today I would have gotten Reason 2.0.

Has reason 2 improved in the sequencer department, because i must say that the Reason 1 sequencer sucked hard IMO. Practically useless without a keyboard and the fucker could even be in it''s own window.

I have Reason 1 and 2. Reason 2 basicly adds two new devices, the advances sampler and a graintable synthesizer (as well as fixing up a few minor issues with the v1.0). The graintable can make some really REALLY funky beats and effects. All of the old devices are still there AND reason 1.0 music files work in 2.0. The old sound bank is still there, but there is also a new one, called the Orkester. Lots of nice things in there. I love it.
