I have been looking for the winsock sdk but i was unable to find it,i tried the most likly place: www.msdn.microsfot.com but it wasnt there. Can anyone give me a link? thx in advance.

It''s part of the Platform SDK. (last time I checked). If you''re using Visual Studio, you already have it.

The Platform SDK can be a mess to find stuff in.
