I''m thinking this ImageDrive is some sort of virtual CD drive, becuase if I mount the drive, a Windows window pops up asking me what I want to do with the newly inserted CD. Is this just in Windows? If it was not, and actually some sort of BIOS thing, I could boot from that...
When you go homeTell them of us, and say:For your tomorrow,We gave our today.
Open EasyCD Creator 5 project selector.
Click ''Make Data CD''
Click ''dataCD project''
wait...
go ''File->Record CD from Image...''
change file type to ''.ISO''
find image
click ok

You should be good to go. I burned RH 7.3 with this exact method, worked the first time. Maybe your images are corrupt? Check their MD5 sums. (Linuxiso.org has the MD5s and intsructions for using them).
Oh yeah, make sure you have 700MB (80 min) CD-Rs.

Ack! I did exactly as you did, and when I open it up under Windows Explorer, it says that there are 0 bytes written to disk, and 0 bytes free. When I look at the CD, I see the write lines almost filled up to the rim, so it has to be written. I even rebooted my computer and booted from it. It still does not work! This is exactly what I do:

- Open Easy CD Creator 5
- File->New CD Project->Data CD
- File->Record CD from CD Image...
- Files of type: ISO Image Files (*.iso)
- Look in: Desktop
- Open: psyche-i386-disc1
- Select CD-R drive: D: Memorex 40MAXX 1248AJ
- Write speed: 40x (6000 KB/sec)
- Number of copies: 1
- Copy to hard drive first.: Unchecked
- Write CD Text.: Unchecked
- Record Options: Record CD
- Record Method: Track-At-Once
- Finalize CD: Checked
- Start Recording

note: The stuff at the bottom of the screen is this:
Data CD / Joliet | Memorex 40MAXX 1248AJ | Track At Once

That is all the data that I think you should need, because it is all the data that it gives.

I have no idea what your problem is; I burned RedHat Linux 8.0 just yesterday fine. Just a note, your problem is not the boot, but that the images or burnings are bad (as you can''t browse them in explorer, as you should). Btw, I don''t think you should not need 80min CDs, or perhaps you do... not sure.

Do as I suggested, install Daemon-Tools (a virtual CD device, link above) and mount the images. This way you can easily assure that the images are ok.

What type of CD-recorder do you have? Old/new? Support overburn, and/or 80min CDs?

You''ll need to verify each of these steps before going to the next:
1. Verify images are ok
2. Verify that you can browse them in explorer
3. Verify if disc 1 boots
4. Install

Are you going to install it on your current computer, as dual-boot? If so, you can leave the isos in the root of a FAT32 partition that won''t be formatted, and point the installer to them. That was the way I installed RH Linux before I got a burner.

Don''t think it matters, but have you tried burning at a slower speed? It might be that the CD copy is bad because you''re burning at such a high speed.
I hope you''re testing this on CD-RWs, or you''ll have a lot of spare frisbees (or homemade cathrine-wheels if you''re me...)

Burn it as ''Disk At Once''. That will be your problem.
