I was just thinking about this. What''s the generally accepted way to dumb down an AI to be beatable in, say, a racing game? The best way I can come up with is to delay its actions by a quarter second or so to simulate weaker driving. Any others? I haven''t Googled this, so feel free to link ^_^ Thanks in advance, Ed

Add some randomness, e.g., over/under steer, acclerate too litte/much, etc.

Limit the amount of information given to the AI or add ''noise'' or errors to that information so that the decisions made are not optimal.

Give it a couple of beers.
