why have I never seen anyone talk about this: http://www.nevrax.org I have used a lot of components in my engine which is 90% complete.. we took awhile off engine mech to work on design structures and content. Just wondering as I found it a wealth of code but I see nobody else talk about it =] [edited by - Imperil on October 11, 2002 9:22:06 PM]
btw for anybody interested, my company (which is using a lot of the NeL engine components in our game) will have our website online in approximately one month or so, in which we will have tutorials, examples, etc.

We have worked with the NeL engine for awhile and we will be posting all changes we make to it on our site as extras.. even if they are not approved by nevrax as an official nel update.

I tried Nel, but the snowball demo only gave me 20fps offline, and it took 3 hours to compile everything before I could even play around with the software. Eventually I gave up as it was too frustrating. If they release a prebuilt Win32 SDK (prebuilt libraries with includes) I may look at it again.

aha.. thx for the info I wasn''t positive as I have actually never tried to compile the full engine or demos.

I was really more interested in just the source as there is a lot of good source to check out in the engine.
