Does any one know of any introductory programming tutorials for wrintin a screen saver on Windows using pure Win32? No MFC. Thanks --Mat.
I think there is something about screen savers in ''windows 98 programming from the ground up''. i own the book but i am just beginning in it. hope that helps.

A screen saver is just a standard exe with a .scr extension.

To integrate it with the set-up dialogue just process -c from the command line to configure it.

There are tutorials on MSDN but they all use MFC.
