i have a question related to this topic:

the war department (well, now department of defense) must have thousands of pictures and videos dating back to the invention of the camera. there must be rooms full of this stuff somewhere in the pr area.

i was wondering if anyone knew how to come by this cache of photographic history? scant few pictures are available over the internet.

if there was something as simple as somewhere you could go, and maybe pay a fee for a copy of a picture, or video, or some such system. that would be great... but i doubt there is.

anyways, if anyone knows of something i could do, please tell me!
