hi im really new to making 3d images and the only 3d program i have is blender. i want to know if its possible to take a jpeg or a bitmap image and put that on the 3d model with blender. if it is possible could anybody tell me how.

i think you may have to convert to targa images first

I do have to tell you that Blender's UV mapping is kinda funky.
