interesting rendering problem...
A LOT of people still have win 98. A developer''s ideal is to meet the consumer''s needs. so I am glad that you will try to support win 98. You can''t expect people to upgrade their system for possibly hundreds of dollars to run your game. Many gamers keep win 98, becuase too many ames do not support NT. I was shocked and dismayed when Myst 3: Exile, Madden 2001, and Star Wars Rouge Squadron didn''t run on my XP machine. Thank God I still have a drive with 98 on it.

ddsquat, actually we got yet every game running on winxp with the compatibility modes.. no problems here so far..

If that's not the help you're after then you're going to have to explain the problem better than what you have. - joanusdmentia

I eventually got many of the games working on XP with compatablity modes, game patches, and other compatablity programs. However I haven''t gotten them to work on 2000. Driver seems to run decently on 2000, but the music is all screwed up. I wish I could play Worms Armageddon on 2000 that was an awesome game.

Did anyone test my current program under win98? What does it do now? So, what am I doing wrong?
Besides, does anyone know a tutorial about collision detection with 2 ellipsoids colliding? I found everything except this. A generic theory used in spacesims would be nice
Thanks,
cpu

Have you ever heard of the beautiful windows command-line tool rar32?

Never mind, I already recompressed it for you, happy testing.

You can get a directory listing at http://ejg.homeip.net/~poka/
That''s all. Then download whatever you want...
I''m going to implement collision detection using spheres. Ellipsoids were too complicated.
