Mags, the cold hard fact is that you are only going to learn if you sit down and just start coding. If you get tripped up, then ask a question. I''m not sure what you are envisioning with the instant messenger teacher shtick. There is nothing a person can teach you that you can''t get from a book or *gasp* a tutorial. What you need to do, seriously is buy a book. Most people throw out the Sams Teach Yourself C++ in 21 Days and the Dietel Dietel book. Just out of curiosity, how do you see the IM teaching thing going down? What is the difference between that and doing a tutorial except that you can ask questions and get an immediate response. I think you see the responses are pretty quick here, why not give it a shot on your own. You will get a lot more out of it.
Hrm, i asked to be taught not to be directed to

Because I don''t think you dont'' realize I''ve tried that...unelss you are willing to help me using that compiler it''s not gonna help..I tried that with a tutorial somewhere and I don''t think I got very far...

Please can someone just grab me from one of those messangers? I currently have them all on.
preferablly MSN tho

that''s why i learned c++: to waste my time teaching a rude little bitch how to do something so he doesn''t have to bother reading. and for FREE no less!
