Ogre 2.1 Officially Released

Ogre 2.1 has been made officially available. The new release of the open source rendering engine includes:

  • HLMS - high level material system to generate shaders automatically
  • Physically Based Shading
  • New, more flexible and faster compositor
  • Refactored with cache friendly techniques, SIMD instructions, AZDO, auto instancing, and multithreading
  • Area lights
  • Parallax Corrected Cubemaps
  • Forward Clustered lights
  • HDR
  • Exponential shadowmaps
  • And more
