Manticore Games, creators of the Core platform for making and playing games, is calling on all indie game devs, creators and modders to apply now for one of only 50 slots in the first-ever Core Invitational, an exclusive game dev competition with $120,000 USD in prizes.

Once accepted, creators will have from March 4 to April 5 to create their awesome, one-of-a-kind game experience on Core. All creators accepted in the Core Invitational (excluding the Category and Special Awards winners) will receive $1000 USD for submission of a valid entry to support their game dev dreams!

All experienced game devs and modders are encouraged to apply. Whether their experience comes from working on Roblox, Fortnite Creative, Unity, Unreal or other game making platforms or tools, Core’s opt-in complexity makes it simple to transition to the platform while still allowing for talented creators to write their game logic in the LUA scripting language or make their own terrain and assets. Online workshops on Core and creator office hours hosted by game development industry veterans make it even easier for creators to hit the ground running and make truly distinctive games.

• Best Tycoon/Simulator Game: $5,000
• Best Shooter Game: $5,000
• Best Homeworld/Social Experience: $5000
• Best Game Remaster: $5,000

In addition to Special Awards:

• Best Trailer/Machinima: $3000
• Most Aesthetic: $2500
• Most Innovative: $2500
