Anyone know where I can find websites with storyline examples.
Does anyone listen to Destiny''s Child, TLC, or Sammie?

No, why? Shouldn''t you be able to make up your own story?

If you code it, they will come...

Yes... I meant to get ideas dummy.

you don''t need to get ideas from other people, you have plenty(and don''t say that you don''t, everyone does). Here''s what to do.

Sit down with a piece of paper and a pencil(GASP! how archaic!) and write free-from. Just write for 15 minutes straight, whatever comes to mind. Don''t stop to think about what you''re writing, just put it all down on paper. You could write about the time the dog got sick. Just write. This is what is called a rough draft(duh, it will be rather rough).

Next, sift through the rough draft for good ideas. Pick out a few good sentences. Now put the rest aside. Write for another 15 minutes on those few shining diamonds in the rough. DO IT!

By now you should have some semblence of a story, and one that is probably better than most RPG''s. This is you 1st draft. This is where everything comes together. Now you go through an editing stage. Fix all grammar and spelling errors. Look for passive sentences. A passive sentence is one that sound like "he had driven to the store". Instead use active sentences "he drove to the store", or "he drives to the store". It just sounds a lot better.

Now, add lots of detail. So much detail that it''s almost ludicrious. If you think it''s enough detail, it''s not. Then edit it again, taking out some of the detail. Not all of it. Just the detail that is obviously not necessary.

Polish this last draft up some. You''re in the home strecth now. Once you have gotten all the kinks out, let someone else read it and grade it. If you know an english proffesor or a magazine editor, GREAT! Use them. ONce you get it back, take their advice seriously. They''re trying to help you, not cut you down. If you''re not sure about something, change it until you are sure about it. Never leave anything to ambiguity.

Once you''ve done all of this, you will have a decent story for your game. Hopefully.
