Hi, I am new to games design, What is needed for games design?... I want to design games from scratch... Do you need to be trained?...in any particular area?

Check out the books area of GameDev.net. Buy a book from the game design section that got good reviews. They''re pretty good resources. Also, you could do some searches on this site, flipCode, or even better, the whole internet with the GDSE. In the future, do a bit of research on your own before you post here, kay?
