Looking for motivation.
Finding the motivation to create a whole game by myself is a daunting task. When you only have yourself to answer to its easy to procrastinate, putting things off until tomorrow. So I would like to create a creative team to make games together. If you feel the same way I do then please email me at snowman-8@msn.com. That is all for now. Late.
If you have an idea that you really like then making a game shouldn''t be that daunting of a task. If you like your idea you will WANT to work with it.
Besides, you dont have to make Quake in one fell swoop, you can make smaller parts to do some basic things and then when you''re ready bring those together into a game. For example, I wrote a small class to deal with quads in D3D and it works how I want it to, but I haven''t actually used it to make a game yet - I just did it because I felt like making one then for a later time.
I will not make a list of links... I will not make a list of links... I will not make a list of links...
