Thats what i;m currently working on but i don''y know what kind of art to use with 3d game aince their are many styles, sonic adventure 1 and before that any ideas?

Using any kind of art that stops you getting sued would be the first step!

To be exact even using the name would likely get you sued (Sonic the Hedgehog is Sega''s mascot, and since their still in business making games they will protect their trademarked names by suing the pants off anyone trying to use it)
