yeah, i gotta install it. I always uninstall after a month or so cause they screw up things so bad. I figured it was a windows thing tho, but youre right, i should check NOW.

run "msconfig.exe", disable all startup programs and services. reboot and see if the problem persists. if it doesn''t then you know it''s one of the programs you disabled. now, you can start enabling startup programs 1 by 1, or 5 by 5, or whatever to see if the problem re-occurs. this way, you can single out the program.....

Not runny XP myself, but a friend at the office is, and after installing the newest update at work couldn''t run PhotoShop anymore. At home he''s running XP as well, and couldn''t run MSN Messenger after the newest update. Screwy stuff...

newest patch seems to have fixed things, ill wait and see.
