Assistance on "The Next Big Thing" game
I have a client in S. F. Bay area who has a "ground-breaking/new genre" video game in early prototype stage. This is a client of over 10 years with a long list of successful games to their credit so their hyperbole seems creditable. My problem as the search consultant is that AI has become such an integral part of the game development process that most development groups have someone who does nothing but. I need someone who will be the number two guy on this team, responsible for designing and implementing rendering, physics simulation and all AI. Past experience will include not only shipped console video games as AI programmer but knowledge of 3D graphics, animation, numerical methods, etc.Compensation in six figures + one of the most generous royalty arrangements in the industry. They will pay all relocation so if you are getting tired of Colorado (listening Steve?) or other parts of the world and California appeals to you, get in touch. I''d appreciate hearing from any interested parties or someone just “passing the word.”

sounds cool, too bad it''s not for me
Just curious, what is that "ground-breaking/new genre" game about? 3D 1st point of view? multiplayer? RPG?

I asked the same question and was told action/rpg/strategy/something new. Interesting.

"implementing rendering, physics simulation and all AI"...
What''s the rest of the team going to do if I do all that?

Closed, cos I already moved another post in the wrong forum to Help Wanted.
