Infact, first thing is (heh, bet this is nothing new, first post and they are asking for help already )
anyone know of a internet turnbased proggy in C++ that I can massacre? (like Chess played using DPlay or something like that)
just wondering, as I''m thinking of making a turnbased strategy game with internet thingies (like I said I know how to program so stop staring at me like I''m jumping straight in at the deep end... I''m used to doing that anyway :D )
I''ve gibbered on enough methinks.... LaterZ

The chat application included with the DirectX SDK is a pretty good lesson on using DirectPlay.

Please, ignore them. Since the moderator here has vanished many people have taken the opportunity to turn sour. This will be rectified in the near future as new moderators are going to be selected very soon now.
Dave, other mods, this is the kind of thing that absolutely has to stop!

Promit: I think some of it has to stop, but even for somebody new here, that first part was really irritating. It was useless, and if he really felt the need to post it, maybe that part should have gone in a post in the lounge, where people expect useless crap.
But the rest was valid, and he shouldn''t be flamed for that.
