I heard somewhere that windows 2000 is a pure 32 bit operating system and that 16 bit apps will no longer be able to work. Is this true?

I''ve got win2k Pro and it runs my FreeAgent from win 3.1 \w no problems

Windows 2000 has just tighted the restrictions on DOS and Win16 based apps a little bit for the sake of robustness. Well behaved DOS and Windows 3.1 apps should still run fine.
