So, who''s tried KDE3 yet? I haven''t gotten a chance to download it lately, mainly because of the fact that the only computer with a modem decided that it was time to die last week, and we just now finally got a new hard drive for it. So, what do you think about it? Is it worth the download on a 24k connection? rm -rf /bin/laden
I''ll tell ya what, because I''m a lil dove, I''ll go ahead and download and install it, then tell ya what I think of it. Don''t expect a reply til later on tho, maybe 8 or 9pm or so.

Thanks to Kylotan for the idea!
Word, so I installed KDE 3. It still looks basically the same as the 2.x series, maybe a slight difference in the look. Feels like it loads up a bit quicker. Konqueror is nice on it, much improved from 2.x. Although when I upgraded somehow I managed to break opera and xmms, but I will figure those out later. Simple reinstall of the programs perhaps?

Bottom line, I''d say go ahead and get it, unless you don''t like using a .0 version, then wait for 3.0.1 to come out. I didn''t see any problems with it yet.
