beginning C++ Books

I know that this question has probably been posted before by somebody else, but the answers have been varied, so I'm going ask again. What would be a good C++ book for someone with no experience, but also would later like to get into game programming? Also, does anybody also know whether C++ Primer Plus book is any good? Thanks. True hackers are intelligent, they have to be. Either they do really great in school because they have nothing better to do, or they don't do so well because school is terribly boring. And the ones who are bored aren't that way because they don't give a shit about learning anything. A true hacker wants to know everything. They're bored because schools teach the same dull things over and over and over, nothing new, nothing challenging.

In my opinion -neko, all of the books mentioned so far are all pretty decent books. I liked the Tricks of the Windows Programming Gurus the best. But also, if you go into serious programming with DirectX, you might want to check out Isometric Programming in DirectX7.0. But for now, those C++ books are the way to go. Good Luck!

second i got about 10 C++ books and reading em so.. just checking so i dont have to stop for 10 months in search for the book =P
