Why is it that when i compile the direct sound tutorial that it gives me the error of IID_IDirectSound3DListener8 saying undeclared identifier when it clearly works for the person who wrote it because before i redid my system it worked fine. But i also noticed that he didn''t have it defined, and i didn''t change it at all.??? Thanks ~Doug

Im an idiot but heres my two cents:

I sort of went through the same thing.
Then I realized all I had was the direct x runtime but not the SDK.

I GOT IT !!!! YAY now if i could just get my ase files to load
