My friends and I may be starting on a game together soon. The biggest obstacle is the distance between us (I''m in AZ, my friends are in TX) So, I''m trying to find some kind of free web-based journal/forum I can host on my website for 1) communication between the team (forum style would be nice) 2) notekeeping / brainfarts /etc 3) file repository (screenshots, downloads, etc) I''ve used LiveJournal before, and really love its interface, but what I''m specifically targetting is something like a weblog tool that would work well for long-distance software development. Any suggestions? Thanks, jojo

Well, it''s not exactly what you''re looking for, but I''ve found that creating a Yahoo! Group works quite well for messaging and sharing files among the team.

<a href=http://sourceforge.net/>Sourceforge</a> perhaps?
The Yahoo group sounds cool, I never thought about that. I''ll check it out. As for sourceforge, that sound''s like a good idea, too, however isn''t it strictly limited to free software?

Thanks for your suggestions.
