quote: As for the idea of playing a monster and scare other people... I''m pretty sure that game has already been made based on Disney''s movie Monster Inc

Did you actually see the movie? Scaring people was portrayed as a bad thing throughout most of it. And because these games based on movies often follow the events of the movie, it''s highly unlikely you''ll be scaring anyone. So, this game type is still up for grabs.

there seems to be far more innovation and originality on the consoles than on PCs.

PC gaming is too much of an investment - psychologically and time-wise. The PC market/demographic, as it currently stands, lends itself well to in-depth games with a lot of customizability and tweaking while console games are the better platform for casual, social games.

A golf RPG where you have to play golf arround a fantasy setting and as your playing golf you run into random encounters who you have to fight off with your golf clubs (which you can upgrade by the way). And make a really indepth story about how you have to win in the biggest tornament to save your golf club from being destroyed by the evil impirial golf ball stealing empire.

So what do ya think? You would get to walk arround with a driver of the ages with +1 against time spells.

(if this game has already been made tell me so i can play it :p )

If you guys want to play a fun and innovative game(at least for
the first two levels ^,^ go get Haunting: Starring Polterguy
for the Sega Genesis.

Basically, you''re a ghost that can possess certain items and the
goal is to scare this family out of a few houses. Great fun(like
I said, at least for the first two levels).

Wow cool. i never knew. To bad I don''t have a Genesis.
A game where you are a atom/sub atomic particle/planet/s, and the aim is to get to a certain place (a mother atom etc lol).
Of course each atom/sub atomic particle/planet/s you come across will have its own personlity and some will try to stop you, bond with you, repel you etc.
How is that for a crazy idea? Do I win anything?

Heisenberg uncertainty principle: The closer the 3rd person camera gets to Mr. Electron, the greater the (random) difference between his true location and where he is drawn.

Well, since stores don''t rent Genesis games anymore and this
was a slightly difficult game to find anyway, go the backroute
and download the *gasp* rom for it. It''s worth playing.

Actualy this idea was more fun when Me and my friends discussed it (Late, late at night) but here we go:

You are a fly, There are people with fly swapers all around you. Your goal is to escape the house \ building you are inside. But whatever you do, You allways get killed in an extremely overeexagurated death scene with gore and blod spashing on the wals. (And be sure to fill in with some swartzeneger lines, when you avoid the swapers, something like: "You couldnt hurt a fly"

Ok, Heres a few crazy ideas...

I call this one

SCENERIO
100% realtime game, where each level is a half hour, no pause, no stopping to pee, so go to bed and play tomorrow. Kinda like that show 24. You play several characters, consecutively, but not always in the same order. The outcome of each scenerio, changes who goes next. All of the scenerios will appear to not be intertwined until the end of each story thread.
