Ok, this has been bothering me for quite some time. What exactly is an engine? The Quake Engine, Infinity Engine, Doom Engine, etc. - What are they exactly? I''ve had my theories on it, but I''d like to know the truth. This may seem to be a stupid question, but if anyone can answer this I would be very grateful. Thanks
