Ok, here it is: Borland c++ 5 or Visual c++ 6? Ive used VC++ for about 2 years, but now, I tried borland too. Its very easy to create forms, and in general, visual ui. For Opengl, which is better?? At the moment, Im creating a small engine that will include some things, i might expand it later, but can you point which language I should use?
Both use the same language, its the IDE whats different, use the one you are more confortable with.

I personally like to use Borland C++ Builder for application work and MSVC++ for core game development.

Anyway I recommend using MSVC6, even though I''m risking starting a flame war here, I am lead to believe that the MSVC compiler is very good. Out of Borland C++ and Microsoft C++ I preffer Microsoft. The IDE is very nice IMHO!
