I think they mean 1 hour a day, or possibly 1/2 hour a day over 48 days..... Whatever!

Anyone know the difference in content between the 24hrs and 21 days versions???

I already have the 24hrs book, and it teaches pretty lame easy stuff. I would prefer something that teaches how to declare API''s etc.

Update to books I''d like... Anyone know any good ''Physics for 3D games'' or ''programming 3D reference'' books???

So much to learn..... Ho hum.

I have "Teach yourself DirectX 7 in 24 hours" and "Programming Windows" by Charles Petzold. They''re both e-books, but they are almost 13 mb together.

Could I possibly have a copy of them???

Jesse Liberty''s books just don''t click with me for some reason. I''m using "C++ Programming For The Absolute Beginner" by Dirk Henkemans and Mark Lee, which works better for me cause you''re actually programming something (little games, in this case). My best advice to anyone is to go to a bookstore with a good selection and read through a bunch of books til you find something that works for you.

The 21 days books are way more comprehensive (I don''t know that as a programmer, I know that as someone who works in a bookstore).

I bought C++: The Complete Reference Third Edition recently, and I''m very happy with it... It covers all the functions in C++ and covers C also.
Coding... Compiling... Building...What??? No... Not again...
