Hi, i want to learn openGL, but i''m not sure what compiler i should get. i heard visual c++ is good, but i dont want to buy one and find out i dont need it :p. what compiler do you guys recommend?

Visual C++ is pretty good software. I think you should buy it. In the UK you can get it for about £70.

*sigh* that was a stupid responce, i think you''ll find the reason obvious when you post that reply on a site full of people that someday plan to/already make a living producing software.

i''d say MSVC++, i''d say its worth the money, but if you dont have money for compilier theres numerous free ones like Dev C++ or somthing like that.

Compilers are one of the things that open-source do best.
MSVC is the corvette of compilers, any collage bookstore will sell it reasonable.
