Is there a way to make an AVI file compressed in any codec uncompressed? even some external utility will do if there is such a thing...could anyone help?

What''s your target format? You can use the ICDecompress etc. Win32 functions to decompress an AVI, but what do you want to do with it?

I wanted to turn it into an RLE-compressed AVI.
Thanks but I''ve found already a utility that can convert an AVI to around a dozen AVI format types including uncompressed or RLE-compressed AVI. It''s called VIDedit if anyone wonders.
