I do not enjoy gratuitous violence in video games (i.e. blood, flying body parts, etc.). What''s wrong with the style used in old Western movies? There is violence, but it''s not overly disgusting. People get shot and fall down, but that''s it. Sure the real world is far more graphic, by I don''t WANT to see what would happen in the real world. I play games for enjoyment, and I certainly don''t get enjoyment out of seeing/contributing to gore. An example of a movie that had quite a bit of violence but very little gratuitous violence was "The Matrix." It certainly wasn''t a box-office flop by any stretch of the imagination, and it didn''t have body parts flying everywhere.
