Hey all, I''m trying to make an Isometric Engine. Currently I''ve taken NeHe''s cube tutorial, shaved off all sides except for the bottom and have rendered 25 of them into a square (5 x 5). Now, when I look at the scene, its very very slopped. I want to increase the height of the camera, so you are always looking at a 45 degree angle to the floor. How can this be done? I''m sure once I get this, I''ll be able to figure out how to move the camera from side to side and up and down, but for now I really need this. Thanks a tonne. Tremble before me, I am your new God.
setup an orthogonal projection matrix
use gluLookAt(x,y,z,x,y-1,z-1,0,1,0) to position the camera

I''m still looking for a 3D view though, so I can zoom in, etc.

use the gluLookAt function
