I dunno about feeling less allone in college. If you go to a medium sized one youll probably be the only game programmer (public expression for it is unfortunately nerd) around. But still, if you are like me you dont care. You just cant help poking around with your computer.

The best advice i can give you is to get a girlfriend that understands you, or at least loves you enough to let you sit at the computer all day long. Mine does. Shes nice

CamelFly: hehe, just a thought, my life is also becoming like that, my girlfriend just sits there watch tv while i indulge my self in front of the computer all-day long... the day i started this, we just stopped going out watching movies etc., no more social life...
