( I do not know if I have post two of these message ) Which one is better between Visual Basic and Delphi in gernal game programming? Direct X? 3d? RPG? Now Direct X 7 support VB out of the box. Would this gives better result in game programming? I am now using WinNT 4.0, I heard WinNT does not support DirectX, will that be a problem if I use VB under NT conditions. Does any body know when is the next version of VB coming out?
I think NT supports DirectX version 3, but not higher. Win2k will support all versions.

It depends on what is easier. Delphi supposedly has the same compiling method that C++ has. Visual Basic is easier and you do not need a 3rd party .tlb file anymore. Visual Basic is good if you do not want to use a 3rd party file to link to DX. Also, you could try to use OpenGL.
