The aic78xx has been supported for a while. The driver is there, you might just need to fiddle with it. Could you post the results of ''dmesg'' somewhere? Just redirect it to a file ''dmesg > somefilename'' and put it on a webpage somewhere, and link back to it here. Also the output of ''more /proc/pci'' or ''ls -la /proc/scsi'' might be helpful.
